NUGI Technologies announces the release and deployment of CRUTECH Pay system. The innovative, new system allows online payment and processing of school fees and other payments by students of the University.
The release of the software brings a permanent end to all manual payments and processes in the University system and enthrones a new era of e-administration. Students who are conversant with the previous system, need not worry as the new system is user-friendly, robust, scalable and flexible with easy-to-use features. Students visiting the platform for the first time will have to generate student payment codes. New students are expected to provide their JAMB Registration number to generate their payment codes while old students are to provide their matriculation number to generate their payment codes. The student payment code is a unique payment code the student uses to process all his payments on the platform.
CRUTECH Pay is built with a user-centric approach and embedded in it, are core features such as online fee payment, payment reports and analysis and payment statistics, these features are the core of CRUTECH Pay. With more releases to be made in the coming months, students can now receive live notifications of fee payments, access the payment dashboard and view payment history in real-time. Interestingly, CRUTECH Pay enables students to further make other payments.
While the old system was slow in providing comprehensive and flawless reports to the management, the new system enables school administrators to access all payment records being made in real-time, generate reports and perform queries. The system also comes with a security feature that checkmates loopholes in the system and prevents fraudsters from defrauding the system of money. Currently, with every payment made by a student, CRUTECH Pay sends a live notification to the school management and an sms is sent to the student making the payment. The system authenticates every payment made via a unique QR code, which uniquely recognizes every student payment and is linked to the student ID, hence this prevents duplicate payments.
The CRUTECH Pay is powered by NUGI Technologies. The security around the system is strong and protective against imminent threats, powered from the cloud and hosted on Microsoft Azure.
In future releases, the system will include a student AI, that will assist students specifically to enhance their academic work and increase productivity. The goal here will be to add value to education and put CRUTECH on the spot light of academic institutions in Nigeria.
