To commemorate the birthday of Nugi Group President Mr. Ugi Augustine Ugi Jnr. and marking the 8th anniversary of Nugi Technologies , we undertook an educational outreach initiative in collaboration with Atycare Initiative to pupils of Government Primary School, Akansuko, Akpabuyo L.G.A and Presbyterian Primary School, Ikot Ishie, Calabar Municipality L.G.A of Cross River State. Our objective was to positively influence the lives of young pupils by. With generous contributions from well-wishers and the steadfast support of Atycare Initiative, we extended a helping hand to 383 pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 6.
Atycare Initiative, a passion-driven development organization focused on access to quality education, advocacy, community interventions, entrepreneurship development, and women and youth engagement, has been a valuable partner in our mission. Sharing our commitment to education and empowerment, ACI played a crucial role in ensuring the success of our outreach initiative.
Government Primary School Akansuko, Akpabuyo
We paid school fees for 250 pupils (Primary 1 to Primary 6), including common entrance fees for Primary 6 pupils, and distributed 400 exercise books among the pupils. Education is not just about attending classes; it's about providing the necessary tools for academic excellence. Our small yet crucial contributions aimed to enhance the learning experience of these young minds.
Presbyterian Primary School, Ikot Ishie, Calabar Municipality
We covered fees for 133 students and common entrance fees for 31 Primary 6 pupils. Additionally, we distributed a total of 400 books among the pupils. These exercise books served as tools for knowledge enhancement, encouraging a culture of learning and curiosity among the young learners.
As we reflect on the impact of Nugi Group President Ugi, Augustine Ugi's vision, the positive change initiated by Nugi Technologies, and the collaborative efforts with Atycare Initiative, let us be reminded of the words of Nelson Mandela, who once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." It is through collaborative initiatives like these that we, together with ACI, contribute to molding a future generation capable of making a significant difference.
We express our gratitude for the unwavering support of our well-wishers and the valuable partnership with Atycare Initiative. The joy on the faces of these 383 pupils, the relief among parents, and the awareness that, together with ACI, we've contributed to shaping a brighter future, are the greatest gifts we could ever receive. As we look forward, we are inspired to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those we touch through collaborative efforts focused on education and empowerment.
